Yet today she and her music are virtually unknown outside Croatia. In the film, pianist Kyra Steckeweh and filmmaker Tim van Beveren explore the question of how such a diverse and once celebrated body of work could fall into such oblivion. They go in search of Pejacevic's artistic roots and trace the life and career of a great, unjustly forgotten artist.
